Faculty of Nursing, Department of Child Health and Diseases Nursing faculty member Prof. Dr. Naime Altay and Res. Assist. Gizem ÇAKIR coordinated "The Secret of Smile: Behind the Scenes of Teeth" event on 13 June 2024 within the scope of social service studies.

The event was held at the Private Keçiören İlk Gelişim Kindergarten by nursing students taking the 3rd year Child Health and Diseases Nursing course of our Faculty in order for children between the ages of 4-6 to understand the importance of dental health and to gain the ability to brush their teeth with the appropriate technique.

Theatre, music and dance from artistic teaching methods were used in the dental health education given to children. We would like to thank Gülhan KARAKUŞ, the director of Private Keçiören İlk Gelişim Kindergarten, and her team for their cooperation during the realisation of the event.
