The 2026–2027 Academic Year Fall Semester Orientation Program was organized by the Faculty of Nursing to help newly enrolled students become familiar with the faculty, meet academic staff, and learn more about student clubs and university life.

The program was held at Taşkent Conference Hall. The Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Nurcan ÇALIŞKAN; Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve KIZILIRMAK TATU and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehtap UZUN AKSOY; academic staff; and students were participated in the program

The program began with the opening remarks of Prof. Dr. Nurcan ÇALIŞKAN, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and continued with a presentation introducing the faculty and its academic and administrative structure. Certificates of achievement were then presented to students who were admitted to the faculty with the highest entrance scores, students whose projects were selected for support under the 2025 TÜBİTAK 2209-A Research Project Funding Program for Undergraduate Students, and students who achieved top rankings in the Social Transcript Program.

As part of the orientation program, Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehtap UZUN AKSOY delivered a presentation on “Information Systems and Academic Procedures”; Asst. Prof. Dr. Sıdıka PELİT AKSU presented “Introduction to Exchange Programs: Erasmus+ and Orhun”; Asst. Prof. Dr. Nevra KALKAN gave a presentation on “Introduction to the Portfolio”; and Prof. Dr. Sevil GÜLER provided information on “Peer Mentoring” and the “Quality Commission.”

The program concluded with introductory presentations on student clubs, information about university life and what is being a nursing student in Faculty of Nursing given by the faculty representative student and class representative students.
