The “100th Year Alumni Reunion” program was held at our Faculty. Organized in collaboration with the Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Center (KAPUM), the event took place on May 13, 2026, at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Health Sciences with broad participation.
The program was attended by the Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. Nurcan ÇALIŞKAN, Vice Dean Assist. Prof. Mehtap UZUN AKSOY, academic staff members, and alumni. The event began with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, followed by the opening speech delivered by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Nurcan ÇALIŞKAN. Within the scope of the program, Lecturer Dr. Gamze ASLAN from the Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Center delivered an informative presentation about the Career and Alumni Portal and KAPUM activities for our alumni.
The event also featured a video presentation consisting of photographs and memories shared by alumni. During the interview session, alumni shared their professional experiences, fields of work, and career journeys with students, providing valuable experience sharing. Positive feedback was received regarding the contribution of the Alumni Reunion event to strengthening the ties between our alumni and faculty, increasing institutional belonging, and supporting professional solidarity. At the end of the program, alumni cards were presented to the participants. The event concluded with a social gathering held in the faculty garden as part of the Nursing Week activities.
