“Career Talks-2” was held.

The “Career Talks-2” event organized by the Gazi University Faculty of Nursing Internal and External Stakeholders, Alumni Monitoring and Career Planning Commission was held on May 6, 2026, at the Conference Hall of the Gazi University Faculty of Nursing.

The event began with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, followed by the opening speech delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Nurcan Çalışkan. In her opening remarks, she emphasized the importance of helping nursing students gain different perspectives and broaden their horizons during their career planning process, highlighting that such events play a significant role in helping students develop a professional vision.

The program, moderated by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Nurcan ÇALIŞKAN, featured Dr. Aslı YILMAZ, Founder of Medastech Software Technologies Industry and Trade Inc., as the guest speaker, who shared her experiences with the students.

Dr. Aslı YILMAZ shared her career journey, professional experiences in nursing, and recommendations with the students. She provided information about her educational background, career development, the TÜBİTAK BİGG project process, and the software company she established within the scope of the project, while also offering valuable advice about entrepreneurship ecosystem to the students. During the question-and-answer session held at the end of the program, students and guests had the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences.

The event, which attracted significant participation from fourth-year nursing students, concluded with the presentation of flowers and a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Aslı YILMAZ by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Nurcan ÇALIŞKAN.
