The event titled “Nursing in Regional Development: Ankara Development Agency Support and Opportunities” was held on December 24, 2025, in the conference hall of the Faculty of Health Sciences by our Faculty's R&D Team. In the event, which was attended by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Sultan Ayaz Alkaya, Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Canbolat and Dr. Nevra Kalkan, faculty members, teaching staff and students, R&D Team Member and Head of Public Health Nursing Department Prof. Dr. Yeter KİTİŞ gave a presentation. The program covered development agencies and their regional activities, the objectives of the Ankara Development Agency, the role of nurses, particularly in rural development, and examples of nursing projects supported by the Agency. It concluded with a Q&A session with faculty members and staff and a group photo.
