Gazi University Faculty of Nursing, with the cooperation of Career Planning Application and Research Center (KAPUM) and the support of Gazi University Career Community, organized the “Career Day in Nursing” event on April 21, 2025. The event was held with a large participation in Gazi University Rectorate Mimar Kemaleddin Hall.

The event was attended by Gazi University Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Hasan Tezer and Prof. Dr. Serhat Karyeyen, Faculty of Nursing Dean Prof. Dr. Sultan Ayaz Alkaya, Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Canbolat and Assist. Prof. Dr. Nevra Kalkan, Career Planning Application and Research Center Manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Günaydın, faculty members and academic staff, and 4th-year students of the Nursing Department.

The program began with the opening speeches of Faculty of Nursing Dean Prof. Dr. Sultan Ayaz Alkaya, KAPUM Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Günaydın, and Gazi University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Serhat Karyeyen. Following the opening, a presentation introducing the center's activities was made by KAPUM Deputy Director Assoc. Dr. Abdullah Türker.

Institutional introductions were also made by Ankara Language Science Academy, Ankara Lokman Hekim Hospital and Gazi University Hospital representatives within the scope of the event; an interactive session was held where students' questions were answered. The program ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the speakers and the visit of the promotion stands in the foyer area.
The event in question was organized to contribute to the career planning of nursing students after graduation and to support their direct interaction with different sectors and institutions and attracted great attention. We would like to thank the Career Planning Application and Research Center (KAPUM), Gazi University Career Community and the Nursing Faculty Internal and External Stakeholders, Graduate Monitoring and Career Planning Committee members who contributed to the organization of the event.
